The short version: We collect only what we need to help you apply. We never sell it. We never share it with universities without your written consent. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
1. Who we are
Studyways Global ("we", "us", "our") is a study-abroad admissions consultancy based at Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PD, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
You can reach us at info@studywaysglobal.com, on WhatsApp at +92 329 3391894, or by phone on +44 7789 489205.
2. What we collect
We collect information in four ways:
- Information you give us directly — name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address, current qualification and grades, English test scores (IELTS / PTE / TOEFL), budget information, target country, target intake, and any documents you share during consultation.
- Messages and communications — the content of emails, WhatsApp messages, form submissions and phone notes we make about your case.
- Technical information — standard server logs generated by our hosting provider (IP address, browser type, referring page, timestamp). These are used for security and diagnostics only.
- Optional tracking — if you click a WhatsApp or email link on this site, your browser may pass a "referrer" header to that third party. We do not use cookies for advertising.
3. What we use it for
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
- To assess your profile and prepare a shortlist of universities.
- To prepare application documents and supporting evidence on your behalf.
- To guide you through the student visa process for your destination country.
- To contact you about your case (not marketing).
- To comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
4. What we do not do
- We never sell your personal information.
- We never share your documents with a university or application portal without your written consent.
- We never guarantee an offer, a scholarship or a visa — and we never promise that any third party will.
- We never use your information for third-party advertising.
5. Legal bases (UK GDPR)
- Consent — when you submit a form or message us, you consent to us using that information to reply.
- Contract — when we agree to provide a paid service, we process your data to deliver it.
- Legitimate interest — to improve our service and to prevent fraud.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain records for tax, audit or legal reasons.
6. Who we share it with
We share your information only with:
- Universities and their application portals — only after your written consent, and only the documents they require.
- Service providers who help us operate (email hosting, calendar scheduling, accounting), each bound by confidentiality.
- Authorities, where required by law or to protect against fraud.
We do not share your information with marketing companies, data brokers or social media platforms.
7. Where your information is stored
Your information is stored in the United Kingdom and in the EU where our service providers operate. Where a provider is outside the UK or EEA, we use standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard approved by the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
8. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't become clients — deleted within 12 months of last contact.
- Active clients — kept for the duration of the engagement.
- Completed engagements — kept for 24 months after our last communication, unless a longer period is required by law or by a university's record-keeping rules.
- Financial records — kept for 6 years, as required by UK tax law.
9. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct any information that is inaccurate.
- Delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Restrict how we use it.
- Object to certain uses.
- Port your information to another provider.
- Withdraw consent at any time — for example, unsubscribe from any communication.
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
To exercise any of these rights, email info@studywaysglobal.com. We will respond within 30 days.
10. Cookies
This site does not set first-party tracking cookies. Third-party services used on this site may set their own identifiers when loaded:
- Google Fonts — used to load the display font. Google may log your IP address.
- WhatsApp — only when you click a WhatsApp link.
If we add analytics in future, we will update this section and add a cookie banner before doing so.
11. Children
Our services are for applicants aged 16 and over. If you are under 16, please have a parent or guardian contact us on your behalf.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when. If the change is material, we will notify active clients by email.
